A little history.

As a kid, my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic with a cube flash on top that rotated after each shot. In my teens, I upgraded to a 35mm film camera and experimented on my own with composition and exposure. While in college, I took a couple of photography courses but focused primarily on my major – Graphic Design. After earning my BFA in design, my interest in shooting took a back seat while I focused on my career.

Work became my creative outlet. I worked in the advertising industry for over 35 years crafting brand strategies for large Fortune 500 companies as well as small startups. I started as an Assistant Art Director and advanced to Vice President, Associate Creative Director.

The advancement of digital camera technology got my juices flowing again so I joined the digital revolution and purchased an advanced point-and-shoot camera. Then after a few years I made the leap to a full-frame DSLR and I haven’t looked back since.

I also have a love of travel which has taken me to some great locations around the country and the world. I’ve managed to fuse both of my passions into some engaging imagery. My motto is: if you want to take a beautiful picture, put yourself in front of something beautiful.

I feel honored that some of my work has been accepted and awarded by a few prestigious exhibitions. That fuels my desire to create even more. I’m always looking forward to my next adventure.
